            Abstract

Existe a «Teologia Pós-colonial»?

Is there such a thing as «Postcolonial Theology»? The question is beyond rhetorics. Starting from the undetermined and contentious space of the postcolonial, this article debates on the confusing and polluted field of the postcolonial/decolonial. It continues with a critical reading on the religious and the theological arguing against the ongoing splitting of their objects of study as if they referred to separate spheres within culture and politics. It concludes imagining a contingent and performative space, defined by Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza as the spiral dance of Wisdom.

Keywords: Postcolonial Theology, Decoloniality, Postcoloniality, Feminist Critical Theology, Religion and theology.
