The CAS50 Exhibition and Collection

The Computer Arts Society was established in the UK in 1968 and pioneered the development of digital arts in the UK and worldwide. In this paper I present some background to the formation of the Society and document the exhibition organised to help celebrate 50 years since the founding of the Society. Suggestions for the on-going development of what is now being referred to as the “CAS50 Collection” are also presented.
