            Abstract

To provide acute home care to COVID-19 patients, we developed a new system that involved several clinics that would take turns dispatching a “rapid response team” to conduct an initial home visit and then one “base clinic” would provide the necessary care. To demonstrate the efficiency of this system, one case is presented. This COVID-19 patient with schizophrenia, severe obesity and diabetes mellitus refused recommended hospitalization and recovered with home care provided by this system despite respiratory status deterioration.
