Real estate management, and therefore the procurement of these ser- vices, is increasingly undergoing a digital transformation. At its core, the institutional structure, i.e., cooperation and contract design, is a decisive element for information logistics between corporate and RESP. What se- lection criteria/characteristics of service providers do clients use when de- ciding to outsource real estate-related services? How important are these criteria, in particular price and data-driven business, for the decision? The results show that price is the most important criterion in the procurement decision. This is followed in descending order by the relationship between expectations and the actual service result as well as the type of partner- ship. Despite the increasing importance and influence of digitalisation, da- ta flow is the least important criterion.
