<b>Inferior Vena Cava Filter Retrievability: OptionElite™Retrivabilty Data in a Retrospective Literature Review </b> :  Retrieval Success of an Optional IVC Filter in Literature Review

With the status of IVC filters, and the general consensus that long term or permanent filtration of the vena cava may not be necessary for the majority of patients that demonstrate only transient risk of pulmonary embolism, there has been more emphasis placed on retrievability rates of temporary IVC filters. The intent of this study is to look at the overall retrievability rate of the Option/OptionELITE™IVC filter by searching a cross reference of published studies listing retrievability rates and retrieval techniques.
