Biography

Antje Baeumner is a Professor and Director of the Institute of Analytical Chemistry, Chemo- and Biosensors at the University of Regensburg. She is also Professor in the Department of Biological and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University. Her research focuses on the development of cutting-edge biosensors, lab-on-a-chips and bionanomaterials for the detection of food-borne pathogens that threaten public health, toxins in the environment, and markers relevant in clinical diagnostics.
