Guido Guidotti obtained the MD degree at Washington University School of Medicine and was a resident in internal medicine at Barnes Hospital. He received the PhD in biochemistry from The Rockefeller Institute. He then joined the Committee on Higher Degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Harvard University, where he is now a member of the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology.
