Full professor of visual and cognitive neuroscience, University of Tübingen, Germany. Driven by: how does the brain make sense of complex visual input, derives representations of space, people's emotions, forms motivations to act? We use visual motion, bi-stable perception, attention, emotion and colour vision to address the above. Methods: fMRI, TMS, multivariate analyses and deep learning.
