My name is Ricardo Martins and I am a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specialized in automation and robotics, with a background in Biomedical Engineering (MSc).

Over the past years, my research activities at University of Coimbra (UC), Institute of Systems and Robotics (ISR), Coimbra Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Translational Research (CIBIT) and Institute of Nuclear Sciences Applied to Health (ICNAS), have been focused on two distinct lines of research and innovation - artificial perception in robotics; neuroimaging in cognitive neuroscience - with a common intersection: statistics and probability; multivariate signal processing; computational modelling.
