          Abstract

Pandemic movies are among the most watched films worldwide and therefore have the highest box office revenue. One of the most important reasons for this is that the future world imaginations of the audience are based on negative emotion so all predictions about the future argue that human history is going to the worse. This study presents a quantitative situation that analyses the films about pandemics shot throughout the history of cinema . In the study, the number and genres of films on the basis of countries were discussed.
