This collection encompasses a selection of publications on digital health from across a variety of Karger books and journals:

Digital transformation affects and empowers researchers around the globe in many ways. The new tools, methodologies, and increasing knowledge in digital health allow researchers to gain greater insights within their respective fields.

Among others, the section “Informatics and Oncology” within Oncology provides the latest research on digital health in oncology. This evolving field extends beyond the scope and expertise of any single individual; oncology informatics is multiprofessional by nature.

The journal Digital Biomarkers recently indexed in PMC bridges the disciplines of computer science, engineering, biomedicine, regulatory science, and informatics. Digital devices such as portables, wearables, implantables or digestibles provide data that can be used to explain, influence, and/or predict health-related outcomes.

In 2020 we will publish an exciting special issue on digital endpoints and will be going to the core of digital health in order to establish how and what we measure to obtain long-awaited results.
