The International Journal of Materials Research (IJMR) publishes original high quality experimental and theoretical papers and reviews on basic and applied research in the field of materials science and engineering, with focus on synthesis, processing, constitution, and properties of all classes of materials. Particular emphasis is placed on microstructural design, phase relations, computational thermodynamics, and kinetics at the nano to macro scale. Contributions may also focus on progress in advanced characterization techniques.

Co-Editors: Société Française de Métallurgie et de Matériaux (SF2M) and Swiss Association for Materials Science and Technology (SVMT).

Submission Conditions and Editorial Manager

 

All articles will be published in English language.

The citation of the journal is: Int. J. Mater. Res. (formerly Z. Metallkd.)

The submission, reviewing and editing will be handled by the Editorial Manager system. Editorial Manager is an online submission and review system. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. To get to the Editorial Manager, please click the Submit a Manuscript Button on the Collection Banner.

Of course, the volume-numbering of the journal is contiguous with the numbers of Zeitschrift für Metallkunde: in 2006 it is Vol. 97.
