The loads on the vehicle are dynamics. Hence, fatigue plays a significant role in the failure. In this work, FE models were compared with the experimental results.
For spot weldment, the nugget size (i.e. nugget diameter and penetration) changes significantly in the fracture types.
The failure depends also on the amount of dynamic loads. In addition, the time of the dynamics load and the stress ratio (R-Ratio) can be considered in this issue.
