Abstract
The ladybird Cheilomenes sexmaculata is reported for the first time from Colombia.
Previously, this species was recorded in Asia and Australia, then introduced to South
America and reported from countries such as Chile, Ecuador, Perú, and Venezuela, where
it is used for biological control.
