            Abstract

Interaction design creates new challenges for the researcher, educator and student. Certainly, the “look„ of an interaction system falls within the purview of visual communication design; however, the correlating area of “feel„ is fairly new territory for designers. The term “feel„ acknowledges that information being relayed extends beyond the realm of vision; the most interactive experiences depend on multiple senses and feedback process: gaze, aural, gesture, touch, haptic, biometrics (heart rate, pulse...).
