Abstract

Panfleto, o jornal do homem da rua foi porta-voz da Frente de Mobilização Popular e do grupo nacional-revolucionário que, dentro do Partido Trabalhista Brasileiro (PTB), seguia a liderança de Leonel Brizola. Por meio de um veículo próprio de comunicação, as esquerdas, no início de 1964, expressavam suas idéias, seus projetos e suas estratégias. Panfleto é o objeto de estudo do artigo. O objetivo é conhecer seu projeto editorial, a inserção política de seus responsáveis, os colaboradores que escreviam com regularidade, as colunas fixas, o conteúdo das matérias e as idéias defendidas no jornal em seus setes números, em fevereiro e março de 1964.

Translated abstract

Pamphlet, the newspaper of the men on the street gave voice to the People's Mobilization Front and to the national-revolutionary group that, within the Brazilian Labor Party (PTB), followed the leadership of Leonel Brizola. Through their own vehicle of communication, the Lefts, in the early 1964's, expressed their ideas, projects and strategies. Pamphlet is the object of study in this article. The purpose is to know its editorial project, the political placement of its representatives, the regular writers and contributors, the fixed columns, the articles' subjects and the ideas supported by the newspaper in its seven editions, in February and March of 1964.
