          Abstract

          Como parte del proceso hacia una sociedad inclusiva, la política pública colombiana con respeto a la educación inclusiva va más allá de la inserción y permanencia en el sistema educativo para incluir la participación de los graduados en el mercado laboral. Este estudio se enfoca en la discriminación y exclusión laboral enfrentada por graduados universitarios provenientes de clases socioeconómicas bajas. Las encuestas a 98 decanos de administración demuestran que los directivos de universidades privadas-seculares, privadas-religiosas y públicas perciben la discriminación de manera igual. Sin embargo, los de instituciones privadas-seculares, al aumentar la percepción de discriminación, advierten mayor responsabilidad en remediarla. Por su parte, los decanos de las públicas demuestran el efecto inverso: mayor percepción de discriminación resulta en menor responsabilidad de contrarrestarla.

          Translated abstract

          As part of the process of moving toward an inclusive society, Colombia's public policy with respect to inclusive education goes beyond acceptance and attendance in the educational system, to include graduates' participation in the labor market. Th is study focuses on the discrimination and employment exclusion faced by university graduates from low socioeconomic classes. Surveys completed by 98 deans of business schools show that the directors of private secular universities, private religious universities, and public universities perceive the discrimination in an equal manner. However, the directors of private secular institutions, perceiving greater discrimination, also feel more responsible for remedying it. The deans, on the other hand, show the inverse effect: the greater their perception of discrimination, the lesser their feelings of responsibility to counteract it.
