Abstract

Se evaluó el impacto que podía tener la variabilidad estructurada de la producción de dos variedades de fríjol, mediante análisis de tendencia espacial y de semivariografía, sobre los resultados de los análisis de varianza realizados en un experimento de fertilización orgánica y con microorganismos, en una primera siembra, en un diseño completamente al azar con siete tratamientos y cuatro replicaciones, ubicado en el Centro de Investigación "La Selva", de CORPOICA, municipio de Rionegro, Oriente Antioqueño-Colombia. Se encontró un efecto diferencial, por variedad de fríjol, de la variabilidad estructurada sobre los resultados de los análisis de varianza. En la variedad ICA Viboral, el anava hecho con los datos originales no mostró efectos significativos de los tratamientos sobre la producción pero, al quitar los componentes de tendencia y de variabilidad espaciales, el anava detectó que sí había efecto altamente significativo de los tratamientos sobre la producción. Por el contrario, en la variedad CORPOICA 106 no se presentó efecto significativo de los tratamientos, ni con los datos originales ni con los residuales de los análisis de tendencia y de variabilidad espaciales. Este comportamiento se presentó igual al trabajar con la producción del metro central del surco o con la del surco completo. El efecto específico de cada tratamiento en el análisis de varianza también se distorsiona al ir eliminando componentes espaciales de la variabilidad. Con lo observado en este estudio cabe recomendar que en los sitios que se van a utilizar para la investigación agropecuaria se hagan estudios detallados de las propiedades del suelo relacionadas con la producción, en los cuales se incluya el conocimiento de su variabilidad espacial, de modo que se puedan hacer interpretaciones adecuadas de los ensayos que en ellos se conduzcan.

Translated abstract

An evaluation was made of the possible impact of structured variability on the production of two varieties of beans by means of spatial tendency and semi-variography analyses of the results of analyses of variance in an organic fertilization experiment and with micro-organisms, in the first sowing, in a completely randomized experimental design with seven treatments and four replications, conducted in the "La Selva" Research Center of CORPOICA, Rionegro munincipality, eastern Antioquia-Colombia. A differential effect based on bean variety was found of the structured variability on the results of the analyses of variance. In the ICA Viboral variety, the ANOVA conducted on the original data did not show significant treatment effects on production, but upon eliminating spatial tendency and variability components, the ANOVA detected that in fact there were highly significant treatment effects on production. To the contrary, the variety CORPOICA 106 showed no significant treatment effects for neither the original data of with the residuals of the spatial tendency and variability analyses. This pattern resulted both when working with central meter production of the furrow or with the entire furrow. The specific effect of each treatment in the analysis of variance also was distorted upon eliminating spatial components of the variability. Based upon the results of this study, we can recommend that in sites to be used for farm research, detailed studies of soil properties related to production should be made, in which knowledge of its spatial variability is included, so that adequate interpretations of the tests conducted in them may be made.
