          Abstract

ABSTRACT Although some leading companies are actively adopting Big data services (BDS) to strengthen market competition , many manufacturing firms are still in the early stage of the adoption curve due to lack of understanding of and experience with BDS. Hence, it is interesting and timely to understand issues relevant to BDS adoption. The empirical investigation reveals that a firm’s intention to adopt BDS can be positively affected by the quality and benefits of BDS. Surprisingly, a firm’s absorptive capacity in utilizing big data and risks and costs associated with implementation and maintenance does not impact the adoption intention of BDS.

          An Introduction to the Bootstrap

Statistics is a subject of many uses and surprisingly few effective practitioners. The traditional road to statistical knowledge is blocked, for most, by a formidable wall of mathematics. The approach in An Introduction to the Bootstrap avoids that wall. It arms scientists and engineers, as well as statisticians, with the computational techniques they need to analyze and understand complicated data sets.

            Multivariate Data Analysis

For over 30 years, this text has provided students with the information they need to understand and apply multivariate data analysis. This text provides an applications-oriented introduction to multivariate analysis for the non-statistician. By reducing heavy statistical research into fundamental concepts, the text explains to students how to understand and make use of the results of specific statistical techniques. In this revision, the organization of the chapters has been greatly simplified. New chapters have been added on structural equations modeling, and all sections have been updated to reflect advances in technology, capability, and mathematical techniques. :Pearson New International Edition.
