Abstract
International travel contributes to the dissemination of antimicrobial resistance.
We investigated the acquisition of extended-spectrum β-lactamase-producing Enterobacteriaceae
(ESBL-E) during international travel, with a focus on predictive factors for acquisition,
duration of colonisation, and probability of onward transmission.
