Una de las tradiciones con mayor influencia en la filosofía política contemporánea es la del comunitarismo. Contrariamente a la tradición liberal, el comunitarismo critica al individualismo y a la neutralidad estatal, y defiende una idea común del bien. Como veremos, esto supone una visión completamente diferente de la ciudadanía, cuyo concepto queda reducido y limitado a márgenes muy estrechos.

One of the most influent traditions in polithical philosophy is the comunitarism. Contrary to the liberal tradition, comunitarism criticize individualism and state neutrality and defends a common idea of the good life. As we'll see, this supose a diferent vision about the citizen, whose concept is reduced and restricted to narrow limits.
