Abstract

RESUMO Este artigo apresenta uma investigação empírica acerca da hipótese de pesquisa de que há um contexto criminológico específico e distinto na aplicação de flagrantes por tráfico de drogas, quando comparados a flagrantes por outros crimes. Será utilizada, para testar essa hipótese, a metodologia quantitativa, com a construção de análises descritivas e regressões logísticas, mediante o manejo de um banco de dados cedido pelo Centro de Estudos de Criminalidade e Segurança Pública (Crisp), da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Os dados foram coletados em audiências de custódia, em Belo Horizonte, entre setembro de 2015 e março de 2016.

ABSTRACT Subjection or Evidence: The Exceptionality of the Flagrant for Drug Trafficking presents an empirical investigation about the research hypothesis that there is a specific and distinct criminological context in the application of drug traffickers, when compared to those for other crimes. The quantitative methodology will be used to test this hypothesis, with the construction of descriptive analyzes and logistic regressions, through the management of a database provided by the Center for the Study of Crime and Public Security (Crisp), of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). The data were collected in custody hearings, in Belo Horizonte, between September 2015 and March 2016.
