Abstract

El punto de vista básico de esta propuesta es que una visión de la cibercultura fundada en las imágenes de las computadoras y de internet no es suficiente, el poder de la palabra aparece cuando se vuelve un concepto construido en lo mejor de nuestras visiones científicas contemporáneas. Y ahí se desarrolla el cuerpo del texto. La cibercultura es un concepto que asocia la reflexividad, la complejidad, la constructividad y la creación. Y el mejor lugar para su aplicación es la forma elemental de nuestra ecología de vida social, la ciudad. Que vista desde la cibercultura será una ciberciudad, con todo lo que esto supone de pensamiento, comunicación y acción en trama y urdimbre de la complejidad.

The basic point of view of this proposal is that a vision of Cyberculture anchored in computer imaging and Internet is not sufficient. The power of the word appears when it becomes a concept constructed in light of the best of our contemporary scientific visions. Cyberculture is a concept that associates reflexivity, complexity, constructivity and creation. And the best place to apply it is in the basic element of our social life ecology: the city, which, seen from cybercultural perspective would be a Cybercity, with all that this implies about thought, communication, and action in the complexity context.
