          Abstract

          Recurrence of the remnant liver or extrahepatic sites after hepatic resection for colorectal metastases is concerned as a significant prognostic factor. While regional chemotherapy may reduce recurrence of the liver, appropriate therapy for extrahepatic metastases needs to be elucidated.
