          Abstract

          A proposta deste artigo nasce da busca por uma postura pedagógica que propicie a inclusão efetiva do folclore nas escolas, bem como a consequente pluralidade de saberes que daí advém como processo de significação do passado no presente. Propomos assim uma poética da linguagem que enfatize a relação entre o folclore e a literatura na cultura da infância. Tomamos como suporte teórico as reflexões do sociólogo e educador Florestan Fernandes, que tratou o folclore como primeiro tema de pesquisa na sua trajetória discente e docente na Faculdade de Filosofia em São Paulo.

          Translated abstract

          La proposition de cet article vient de la quête d'une position pédagogique qui rend possible l'inclusion effective du folklore dans les écoles, aussi bien que la pluralité de savoirs qui y apparaît comme procédure de signification du passé dans le présent. Nous proposons ainsi une poétique du langage qui souligne la relation entre le folklore et la littérature dans la culture de l'enfance. Nous prenons comme support théorique les réflexions du sociologue et éducateur Florestan Fernandes, qui a abordé le folklore comme son premier sujet de recherche dans sa trajectoire comme enseignant dans la Faculté de Philosophie à São Paulo.

          Translated abstract

          This article's proposal originates from the search for a pedagogical path which could not only foster the effective inclusion of folklore in schools but also the consequent plurality of knowledge stemming from the process of signification of the past in the present. We thus propose a poetics of the language that emphasizes the relation between folklore and literature in the culture of childhood. The theoretical support for the proposal is based on the reflections of the sociologist and educator Florestan Fernandes who dealt with folklore as his first research topic in his learning and teaching trajectory in the Faculty of Philosophy in São Paulo.
