          Abstract

          Se describen sistemáticamente 20 especies de esporas dispersas trilete lisas, cinguladas y monoletes. El material procede de la Formación Punta del Barco, Cretácico Inferior de la provincia de Santa Cruz. Estas formas pertenecen a los morfogéneros Biretisporites, Deltoidospora, Todisporites, Cyathidites, Densoisporites, Foraminisporis, Contignisporites, Laevigatosporites y Reticulosporis. Este último se reporta por primera vez para Argentina, constituyendo además uno de los registros más antiguos del género. Algunos de estos taxones representan a grupos vegetales que no habían sido reportados anteriormente para esta tafoflora, ampliando así su conocimiento previo.

          Translated abstract

          Smooth and cingulate trilete and monolete disperse spores from the Punta del Barco Formation, Lower Cretaceous of Santa Cruz Province are being described in this paper. The trilete spores belong to the genera Biretisporites, Deltoidospora, Todisporites, Cyathidites, Densoisporites, Foraminisporis, Contignisporites, Laevigatosporites and Reticulosporis. The last genus is mentioned for the first time in Argentina, and is one of the oldest known records. Some of these taxa represent vegetal groups no reported for this taphoflora, enlarging therefore its previous knowledge.
