          Abstract

          Translated abstract

This research analyzes the effect of behavioural finance, emotions, culture and economic decisions, and financial literacy on: to) economic well-being; and (b) the people's happiness. In the past, it was considered that people were rational and decisions were not dependent on contextual effects. However, these theories can't explain strange and irrational economic behaviour. Subsequent research showed that people are not rational and decisions respond to contextual effects. Based on these facts, the present study uses psychological, cultural and emotional variables that allow you to more accurately reflect the economic behaviour of individuals. Empirical data in combination with multivariate analysis and factorial was used to quantify and test of the theory. The study found evidence that emotions, culture, economic decisions and financial literacy, influence the economic well-being and happiness of the people.

Subjective well-being. The science of happiness and a proposal for a national index.

          E. Diener (1999)
One area of positive psychology analyzes subjective well-being (SWB), people's cognitive and affective evaluations of their lives. Progress has been made in understanding the components of SWB, the importance of adaptation and goals to feelings of well-being, the temperament underpinnings of SWB, and the cultural influences on well-being. Representative selection of respondents, naturalistic experience sampling measures, and other methodological refinements are now used to study SWB and could be used to produce national indicators of happiness.
