          Abstract

          The value of measuring levels of gamma glutamyltransferase (GGT) for the prediction of first cardiovascular events is uncertain. We aimed to determine whether adding information on GGT values to conventional cardiovascular risk factors is associated with improvement in prediction of CVD risk.
