Abstract

La generación de vapor está presente en nuestros días en gran parte de los procesos industriales, de ahí que la búsqueda por mejorar su eficiencia sea uno de los grandes problemas de estos tiempos.. Se determinarán a partir de la metodología existente en la Literatura, la eficiencia del generador de vapor, así como un análisis de la factibilidad de la inversión. Los resultados obtenidos demostrarán que la utilización de estos sistemas complementando el sistema de generación de vapor, constituye una alternativa para reducir el consumo de combustible. Se resalta además, que la puesta en práctica de este proyecto requerirá de apoyo de las instituciones, debido a los altos costos que acarrea esta tecnología, pero necesaria desde un punto de vista de sostenibilidad ambiental.

Translated abstract

The steam generation is present today in most of the industrial processes, hence the quest to improve their efficiency is one of the great problems of our time . Shall be determined from the existing methodology in Literature, efficiency of the steam generator, and an analysis of the feasibility of the investment. The results demonstrate that the use of these systems complementing the steam generating system, is an alternative to reduce fuel consumption. It also highlights that the implementation of this project will require support from the institutions, due to the high costs involved in this technology, but necessary from the point of view of environmental sustainability.
