          Abstract

Following the format put forth by Imber‐Black and Roberts ( Rituals for our times: Celebrating, healing and changing our lives and our relationships. Northvale, NJ: Jason Aronson, 1998), I examine daily rituals, family traditions, holidays, and life cycle rituals during the pandemic of COVID‐19. Marked by symbols capable of carrying multiple meanings, symbolic actions, special time and special place, and newly invented and adapted rituals are illustrated through stories of couples, families, and communities.
