Abstract
Catheter-directed thrombolysis (CDT) has been associated with rapid recovery of right
ventricular (RV) function. The Bashir catheter was developed for enhanced thrombolysis
in large vessels such as the pulmonary arteries (PAs) with lower doses of tissue plasminogen
activator (tPA).
