          Abstract

Author Information An event is serious (based on the ICH definition) when the patient outcome is: * death * life-threatening * hospitalisation * disability * congenital anomaly * other medically important event A 62-year-old woman developed Bell's palsy following COVID-19 immunisation with Ad26.COV2-S. The woman, who had a history of diabetes mellitus type 2 , hyperlipidaemia and hypertension, presented to the hospital with a two day history of right-sided facial droop 20 days after COVID-19 immunisation with Ad26.COV2-S [route and dosage not stated]. Her physical examination revealed almost complete paralysis of the right lower face and marked paralysis of the right-sided upper face with partial eye closure, indicating a House–Brackmann score 4 Bell's Palsy.
