MEASUREMENT OF ANGLE BETWEEN SUBSPACES IN DIRECT SUM DECOMPOSITION

The problems of Eigenstructure assignment has been studied. As an immediate part of that, the problem addressed is the development of measures of “skewness” between subspaces which are in the direct sum decomposition of the state space and a concept of angle between a set of subspaces.
