My scientific interests rely on theoretical light-matter interactions, in particular theoretical linear and nonlinear Plasmonics and Nanophotonics.
I started my scientific adventure as Physics undergraduate students at the University of Pisa. Later, thanks to my love for travelling I decided to move to Spain for a PhD program. I enjoyed it in Madrid at the Spanish research council (CSIC). The story followed with a postdoc in Amsterdam and a Marie Curie fellowship at the Imperial College. In June 2014, I started my group at the Imperial College London in the Condensed Matter Theory section and recently I accepted an offer in Spain at the CSIC.
