I am a molecular microbiology researcher with ampel living and working experience in Europe and Africa. I have done research on tropical and exotic diseases like malaria, sleeping sickness and Lyme disease.
Since 2012 I work on advocacy for open science and open access with OKF and other international organizations like DOAJ, IS4OA, WorldBank, UNESCO. Currently I am Editor-in-Chief at DOAJ and project coordinator for further development of the Open Access Spectrum tool that asesses openness.
