          Abstract

          The aim of this study was to compare the feasibility and safety of both balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration (BRTO) versus transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) for treatment of gastric varices due to portal hypertension through the method of meta-analysis.
