Abstract
Testicular torsion is an emergency condition that causes testicular injury. Any treatment
opportunity reducing the destructive effect of testicular torsion is important for
the future life of patients. In this experimental study we investigated the protective
effect of mannitol on ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in a rat testes torsion model.
