          Abstract

          Resumo: Busca-se ampliar o debate sobre a denominada Alfabetização Científico- Tecnológica. Neste âmbito, postula-se a necessidade de superar o ensino meramente propedêutico, disciplinar. Discute-se, enquanto configuração curricular, a progressiva substituição da abordagem conceitual pela abordagem temática. Tal encaminhamento está alicerçado em pressupostos do educador brasileiro Paulo Freire, bem como do denominado movimento Ciência-Tecnologia-Sociedade.

          Translated abstract

          Abstract: The objective of this paper is to broaden the discussion regarding the so-called Technological-Scientific Literacy. In this sense, the need to surpass the preliminary and disciplinary teaching is postulated. It has been discussed, as curricular configuration, the progressive substitution of the conceptual by the thematic approach. Such approach is based on the presuppositions of Paulo Freire (the Brazilian educator) as well as on the movement of Society-Technological-Science.
