          Abstract

Similar to pantothenic acid and pyridoxine, O-(β -hydroxyethyl)-rutosides (HR) were found to prevent significantly the lymphoedema of the neck and muzzle brought about by surgical lymphatic blockage. The mode of action of the vitamin treatment of lymphoedema remains to be elucidated.
