Abstract

En el siguiente texto, llevaremos a cabo el estudio de las tomas de fundos en la provincia de Cautín entre 1967 y 1973, la que no solo fue uno de los principales focos de extensión de este tipo de conflictos durante aquellos conflictivos años, sino que también ha sido una de las provincias que más atención ha tenido por parte de los estudiosos de la conflictividad rural en el Chile de aquellos años. A través de un minucioso análisis de documentación de ámbito regional, hemos llevado a cabo una cuantificación, tipificación y caracterización de las tomas y los sujetos que las realizaron, con el objetivo último de revisar y reevaluar algunas de las tradicionales visiones y concepciones que existen sobre esta expresión de protesta y sobre la conflictividad rural de la provincia.
