          Abstract

          By establishing osteoporosis (OP) model in rats, the specific regulatory effect of simvastatin on promoting the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) into osteoblasts through the bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP-2)/Smads signaling pathway was investigated.
