          Abstract

Air cholangiogram has been used in patients with malignant hilar obstruction to reduce cholangitis after endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). However, it still remains unclear whether CO2 could be used as an alternative for air cholangiography in such patients.
